Problem with Beardie

Hey can someone please advise me what could have happened to the beardie in the attached picture. His head has discoloured (or blistered) overnight. The head lamp in their enclosure is currently too far for them to get close enough to burn (i think)

Any advise will be appreciated.

He is just going into shed, nothing to worry about at all. Beardies shed in stages, a leg here, nose, bit of tail. They don't shed all in one go like a python or gecko.

Sorry pic is sideways, it just shows one of mine about to shed the end of his nose.

yeah, shedding time, Chubs heads been looking mangled like that fro the past week,....wish she'd hurry up and get pretty again,..
