Hey guys,

I'm looking at getting some baby quails too feed my carpets for a bit of variety.
Has anyone had any dramas with birds. I am a bit worried about the beaks doin damage.

Cheers,

Rob

There are alot of people who feed chooks and quails to their snakes, so I would assume it would be perfectly fine.

the guy i got my snake off had a big tank for his snake and running around on the floor was a flock of little flightless birds so the snake could eat whenever he wanted

All my snakes diets consist of 50% quail, I leave beaks and legs on. They go down quicker than rats. Only down side is the mess a few days later.....smelly and runny.

quails are great food, relatively cheap and just as nutritious as rats. i find my snakes go well on them without getting fat, they tend to be a leaner feed imo.
