Question Quick Q's

I'm new with snakes - it's my fiances childrens python.

I want to know if she's behaving funny. She's VERY active and swimming in circles/figure 8's in her water bowl for extended periods. She wont leave the water for hours sometimes.

We turned down her thermostat a little cos of some hot weather and her swimming, thinking she was trying to cool.

She hasn't had a UV light for quite some time but lives in the lounge room with plenty of activity around. The light will be replaced soon.

She used to shed badly and has brown scars on her belly (at least one is from an accidnet when she was young). She also used to be very inactive and stay on her heat pad under her log all day.

Is her activity normal? she is MUCH more healthy than she was before.
