Rats

Can anyone give me some advice on how to get my carpet to start on rat pups? She seem disinterested in the rat pup but will eat a mouse hopper.
Thanks again.

That's what I would have said too. You could try tying a hopper to the rat pup tail to tail.

If you put the mouse and the rat together in a plastic bag and defrost them together (i use warm water) you may find that you transfer the smell better as some of the moisture from one will cover the other.

Let us know what eventually works for you.

That seems to be the thing to do. My Bredlis wouldn't look at a Rat pinkie till i scented it by rubbing it on a mouse. It worked a treat after that.

Trying to feed rat pup to my snake again, and she shows no interest, unfortunately there were no hoppers at the store to buy and scent her with, do you think that if I leave her in a closed box with it she may try it?

Sounds disgusting but what I've found works best for me (I feed FK mostly) is to rub a bit of fresh mouse poo on to the rat.
Works brilliantly, for me has worked much much better than rubbing the rat with a mouse.
