Is this so? Or is it, too another urban myth?
I'm interested to know, as we want the best for her.
If I was going to feed her rats instead of mice, and she's eating fuzzy/weaner mice now, would I use rat pinkies for her?

Personal choice really, but do think rats are better if she'll take them. |

Two diamonds i have put on about two feet in a year once i changed from mice to rats. Plus i seem to have more luck breeding rats than i do with mice.

so i feed my snakes 2 large adult mice rather than one small young rat and would rather feed 2 large rats rather than one small young rabbit |

|  | Subscriber | Join Date: Jan-03 Location: Sydney | | | The main reason snakes grow faster on rats is that you are feeding them a much larger food item. there is no way in the world your going to get a diamond or carpet up to it's maximum size feeding it on a diet of mice. It's just common sense, as the snake grows you increase the size of the meal graduating from mice to rats.
