i read about one on this site where you used vinegar, bi-carb soda in bags and a hose to connect the bag with the animal and the newly created gas. do a search and it will hopefully come up

i dont like cruelty to animals, so i dun wanna whack them, and i dun wanna dirty my walls either thankyou very much. im pretty sure mum would go skitz, shes already making hittler insinuations about my gassing plans.
this way was free (-the old sodastream and tupperwear that i went to town on) and its by far the most humane, and the cleanest

I'd say get a small tub, not too much bigger than the things you want to kill, then buy a soda syphon (not sure how much) or a cream whipper, buy the "Soda bulbs" from the supermarket and make a small hole in the top of the container, small hole in the bottom, and inject the *chamber* with the bulb machine
Works out to about 60c per kill, i'm sure one cartrige would do alot more than one rodent if it was in a big enough box, BOC gas & gear charge about $150 per year bottle rental and $30 ish for refils, this would be ideal for larger collections but if you only have one snake or two then i'd say the soda bulbs would be more cost effective, as a box of 10 is $6 - $9, and its also basically mess free.

hey, great link rennie
havnt seen anythin that goes into so much detail about doin it as humanely as possible. im sure lots of people just end up choking the rodents to death without that info, might as well just use ur hand to chocke em if ur not gassing them in the right concentrations

i use a baby's milk formular container, with a hole poked in the top with a piecs of tubing in the hole running into a bag with bicarb and vinegar.
