One of my coastals has got something growing between it's eye and on it's head. It's sort of greenish blue, I've never seen scale rot before so I am wondering if this is it.
Does anyone have any pics of scale rot or have they had something similar happen to their carpet/coastal?
It is happening slowly and the coastal is only a foot long.
I don't have much water in the enc, and it is in the cold spot under a vent so I doubt it would be from too much moisture although I will check that out later.
Sorry I don't have any pics at the moment, I'll try and get some on in the next couple of days.
Cheers, Mark.

scale rot is usually on their undersides, at least to start off with.

The only incident of scale rot i ever had, was on the top of the head on my coastal. It appeared like one or two scales were a pale/bluey colour. After a shed there were more scales that appeared the same way. I treated it with betadine dabbed on the "rot" and then swabbed with Silvazine Cream. One shed later and it was gone.
