sell or keep beardies..

im not trying to sell anything, just want to know what you guys think..

a few weeks ago i bought three gorgeous central bearded dragon hatchies, from 'drosteo' (spelling..meh) (very beautiful LOTS of pattern and colour (greens, yellows and drak black and whites.. and so far the two largest have turned out to be males (can see two distink bulges) and the smallest seems to be female (not yet able to see hemipenis bulges)

my plan was, to get females, and sell the males.. but im tossing up between keeping the largest male and selling the other two, as i originally wanted females, and one male from another clutch..

should i sell all but the female or a male, and try for females and/or males in a new breeder i found in bris 'saz' i think, who has high red and yellows, (im VERY interested in these.)

any way, im 16 and not really wanting to breed, just want a beautiful big beardie or two to live happily in a 6x2x2 im scared more than one will fight be it male x male (obviouse) male x female (viscious breeding) and female x female (can happen) and i dont want to risk it, imdrifting towards the single male.. or one from saz, but i dont wann sell all of the three i have, they costed me a fortune in crickets,

and are there many people that would buy the other two off of me, for the reason of keeping them through very younge hatchling stage, thus giving the new owner a greater chance of there survival.. i'd only sell them for $90 or $70 (partially cost of crickets.. and themselves.. )

and should i up the price for the female, even though she's small..

not selling as of yet, but i may pay the site to put an add up soon.. depending on what replies i get and my decision...

on the left the female (smallest) no tail or toes missing

the middle male, very patterned black and white (can go the colour of yellows and greenish like the one on the right) very small nip off of tail, no toes missing..

the one on the right male, very patterend yellow and greens and a little orange, usually brighter than in this pic.. no tail or toes misssing

this was about a week ago, there changing colour size and pattern already, very beautiful individuals.. ill probably keep the one on the far right.. wwhich is now the largest..

A bit pricey Kirby.............

How sure are you that you have sexed them correctly?

Have you held them for 6 months?

Do you honestly believe that you can accurately sex Beardie hatchies?
Way over priced for an animal that is of average quality, "guess sexed" and only very young imho.
And you want to sell these to purchase "higher grade yellow or red" animals?
No offence hey, but you want to sell normal/average stock to make enough money to purchase quality stock?
I would be inclined to pass on the offer and go directly for the coloured animals myself

Besides you have only owned them for a short period & there is a 6month holding period!

they need to have been with you for a minimun of 6 months before u can sell them.
and i agree...they are quite a bit pricy. i am getting 2 beardies with gorgeous yellow in them of a member of this site this weekend and i am only paying $90 for two.

Just a bit of info; Peter Harlow from Taronga Zoo said he can pop hemipenes of freshly hatched beardies, but only when they are fresh.

i didnt say iw as one hundred percent certain on the 'female' (smallest) but i am certain on the males, they have developed there bulges and i can see them, if you'd liek to sit there and argue, then do it, but im not gonna say anythin else except i CAN see the two distinct bulges.. but i am not yet able to see any bulges on the smallest.
