The easiest way to tell the sexes is when they are mature the females have a long Ovipositor (egg laying/deposition tool). These become obvious a while before their final moult and adult form. you can see them use these to push the eggs into the sand or laying medium, but as has been said- just wack a pile of em together and if conditions are ok they will breed.
