Thanks guys, now with the laying do I just keep the sand moist and let her lay where she pleases and if so how can I be sure she has or do I provide some sort of laying box?

Same as me Sam, I have a glass bottomed cage and you can see the eggs from underneath that way. That's for knob-tails as well though.

Are they full grown? as if they are they look like a pair of females to me, males have huge bulges with a defined crease in the centre (esp. at this time of year) and if it is a juvie male the eggs the other female will develop (she looks like she is in very early stages) wont be fertile. eggs can be seen through the skin in most gecko species, I keep milli, levis. amyae, robusta, castelnaui and steindachneri and all show eggs visible through their skin. Some species of geckoes are a little difficult to sex out of breeding season but develop huge bulges by late winter.

Well I was told they were 2 years old when I got them so they should be fully grown, however I was also told they eat vegies so not sure how accurate all the info is.
