Shedding - How Often?

hey all,
as you all know im new to this python thing! lol (whoa i sound like a full noob now!)
just wondering how often snakes shed... particulary MD's if theres a difference!
only had mine for 3 weeks now, so im not worried that she hasnt shed of course, more just curious as to how often they shed and how long it takes etc!

Varies greatly, all depends on how often it is fed, the size of the meals and the rate of growth.

So young ones will shed more frequently

How old is your MD and how much you feeding it?

As JP2 said they shed much more often when they are young and growing fast. They slow down as they get older.

I don't think there is a difference between species, and I wouldn't be worried about three weeks, it will shed when it needs to.

3 weeks is nothing. Some take much more then 3 months
