Shedding problem??

HI all

My 6 month old coastal shed about 3 months ago and ive been expecting a shed for a while now why isnt she shedding i took a look at her a few minutes ago and i noticed there is a tiny (tiny) bit of old skin on the bottom so i tried to carefully remove it but she just tried to strike at me
is this the reason why she isnt shedding??

please help

Not enough humidity?
Get a small damp cloth and gently rub the skin 'till it comes off. Do not force the skin off.

Maybe she isn't ready to shed. Have her eyes gone milky at any stage in the last few weeks?

It may take up to 2 weeks for it to slough, be patient.

sheds vary from indiviual snake to invidiual snake. coulbe be as little as 4 weeks to shed, just depends on how fast they grow out of their old skin.
another tip would be to soak the snake in luke warm water just deep enough to be most to fully submerged for 10-15min, BUT watch the snake as they could drown.

I found that it depends on how old the snake is and how much it is eating. The younger the snake the more often they will slough if the are eating every 7 - 10 days. The older the snake gets the less frequent they will slough.
