Post up picks when he's done and give us a look.
Ash.

After the cloudy stage they clear up for a few more days before the shed - it is very common to hide during the entire shed process (just before the cloudiness until the shed is complete) - and as stated may be cranky and not eat...
...also it is recommended that you dont handle him during this time, it can cause problems with the shed...

yes i agree that handling when the snake is shedding is not recommended. Just leave it alone and allow it to shed in peace

after the cloudy stage he will go back to normal colouring then in a couple of days after that he will shed make sure you dont touch him throughtout his shed as it can stress it out once it has shed treat it as you normally do

i didnt know u werent meant to handle them while shedding,..Loki started after he had a shower with me last week, i dried him off and he started rubbing his nose all over my arm, it was so cute,....so i made him an obstacle course with rocks and towels and stuff all over the loungeroom, and sat on the rug so he could use me too.
before that he hid while his eyes were milky and basked 4 2 days straight when they were clear till he shed.

we handled our little snake the whole shed process... even an hour or so after his shed so to soak him to get the rest off... he didnt seem to mind at all... he even ate before the shed..
is it ok to handle them if they are ok with it and dont seem to mind?

Watch coastals, sometimes you have to help them shed the ends of their tails. If left alone (as I was told to do), the tails can become necrotic and they have to be amputated.
My two jungles wait to be handled before shedding - they like to squeeze through my fingers to shed their skin (perhaps if I left them alone the first time, they wouldn't be so expectant of help now - but had bad experience with coastal!).
So basically, you can leave your snakes alone during this period and take some risks, or not, and still take some risks.... Only one of my snakes is very narky during this period - and only her I leave alone, the others I check to make sure they do the job properly, or as in the jungles, let them use my hands.
