it really depends on how high the humidity gets in your enclosure. If it only produces low humidity, then mist a couple of times just to be on the safe side. You don't want to have shedding problems for your first snake. And maybe put a larger water bowl in or a second one to help raise the humidity.
Another good idea that someone gave me is put a sandstone rock in the enclosure and when misting .. wet the rock.
