I wouldn't be too worried, he'll eventually give up and curl up and go to sleep i reckon

as long as he actually doesn't get out...

Visit Facebook Profile
snakes can be quite curious little ceatures and thus they tend to be escaoe artisits it means he's healthy and alert and probably looking for food, quite normal. i would however sercure the lid a bit more so it definately can't hurt him

I would make sure there are no tiny holes or thin gaps he can get out of first, then put a branch in there for him to climb on so he doesnt fall,

it is usual for them to try to get out tho!!!

Have you tried giving him a smaller hide?? or putting paper towel screwed up in his hide so it feels safer for him??? My Childreni likes to climb a bit, they do like to look around sometimes.

i wouldnt worry too much. its a snake - thats what they do. just make sure he cant actually escape and minimise the chances of him hurting himself attempting it.

my maccie escape a couple days ago, still looking for her. It's a giant pain when they escape so do make sure the cage's secure. We think she pushed her lid up, so dont rely on heavy lids to keep them in, lol.
