He probably looks thin because most captive snakes are fat. You never find a fat snake in the wild...

Zoe,it is a good idea not to over feed diamonds.Personally i think he looks fine.
Most diamond breeders i know feed their guys fairly slowly.
Think stops them from health prob's and also will not stretch the scales therefore giving you a higher yellow colour.
I reckon just keep feeding him as you are.
By the way he is a beautful diamond.
He is a boy isn't he.Hope so cause that's all i have called him.

looks great to me, snake that are too fat are unhealthy, the diamond looks just fine

LOL zoe! I never said I thought he was too skinny! I don't even try to even pretend that I have the knowledge/expertise to say something like that - I was just making a personal observation that I thought he was smaller than what I was picturing in my head (since I haven't even seen that many snakes before) - from what you've told me you seem to take excellent care of lil' julius squeezer...If I remember correctly you're the one who was already overly paranoid about his size hehe
