i would probably suggest breeding them yourself. they aren't expensive to keep and at least u know they won't be feral smelling things lol

Was thinking about it, but my dad has a big digust for the things, and completely believes that they'll stink the house out, even though ive owned rats and mice in the past and thats never happened before, and they were kept in my room..
I only just got over the jump of the idea of feeding even a frozen rat/mouse to a snake a few months ago, think thats to big of a step at the moment for me to start breeding and killing all the babies which no doubt I would get insanely attached too Think that might have to wait till next year when my man has moved over and can help me with it. The parents are definately going to be pets though! Just with the added benefits of a food source from the bubs lol

lol my other half has a discust for them also. he won't even listen as soon as i mention breeding them. i've been having trouble with one of my snakes feeding so i asked if i could keep one live mouse or rat to keep trying her with rather than wasting a heap of frozen ones as she doesn't seem interested. ( i wouldn't normally feed live but it's been about 7 weeks without a feed so i'm willing to try anything atm)
