Look on the underside of the leaves of small large leaf plants, ie large leaf plants that don't grow too high, especially after rain and you should find them.
Find 2 larger ones and mate them....i'm sure they are asexual, have both sex parts, so one willl become female and the other male and bingo...Do google search on breeding snails there will be heaps of info...Also people do sell them, place an add in the WTB section on this site, someone will know someone who has them, they maybe able to start you off.
Hope this helps...

Hi Gery,
Beware of snails from your garden they can have worms and if any one near you uses snail bait it can be fatal to your reptile.

If you get ones from the garden just place them in an ice cream tub with some lettuce and mist it. If they are still alive after 2 days then they havnt been poisened .

I downloaded a .PDF on breeding snails, however it may have been a bit large scale, I havnt got 4 acres free to fence off for them lol

We breed them in styrofoam boxes with fine mulch as a base and are fed chick starter pellets.(as recommended by health department for human consumption)They breed out of control.I also find snails under rocks and go out hunting after or during the rain at my place ,however it is a rainforest type area.

Hi Xander, what do you use for shelter in the boxes? Also I assume you mist them or provide moisture in some way?
Any help would be great thanks
