snake bath, How warm??? PLEASE HELP

Can anyone tell me how warm do you have a bath for a snake? How deep?
Going to give Queenie a soak as she hasn't pooped for a while and seems quite lethargic.
Please help! Getting a bit worried

28-30C, check it with a temp gun or thermometer.

Make it deep enough to give your herps a swim around but not too deep so that it can escape. As to the warmth make it luke warm to keep the reptile at a warm enough so that it can move around. Remember though that it is a reptile not a lobster so you dont want to boil it. Hope this helps.

I've seen a lot of people say this and I don't like it. Lukewarm to some people means 30C, to others 50C. 50C water is dangerous to your herps. Use a thermometer.

RE: snake bath, How warm??? PLEASE HELP

i go with Hally.....
You dont need a thermometer.... you dont use one for a baby, so why a snake?

I have a click/clack, with holes drilled in the side, about 1inch up, so it can only fillup about a inch.... there is also holes in the lid for air.... i have found this the easiest way, because you dont have to strugle by trying to put the snake into the water.... you can just place the snake in the dry click/clack, get your luke warm water, in a jug, and slowly poor it in the air holes at the top, the holes on the side keep the water level 1 inch high, and you can keep slowly pooring the water in everyfew mins, to make sure it doesnt chill.

cheers,
Bill.

yes it is okay, By the reptile to swim as it helps the meal digest moving it along the stomach.

Because a baby can thermoregulate, 50C won't kill a baby, it will kill a snake.

It mean diferent things to diferent people, that's why I don't like it.
A bath that feels "warm" to us is usually around 45C, far too warm for a python.
