RE: Re: RE: .

I just had a great idea, turn it on its side and turn it into 2 3 foot enclosures, perfect.

RE: Re: RE: .

From what I have seen in my own snake and in photos of wild ones, they do climb a fair bit. I have a big branch at the top of my enclosure, and she spends heaps of time curled up on it.

I have also seen lots of photos of childreni up the very top of a bat cave, so I think they like it hehe

Re: RE: Re: RE: .

I reckon you could just put the enclosure on it's side...maybe make a fake wall if you think it's still too big from cardboard or something or put in lots of little nooks...

Or if you want to give 2 pythons less space, make a wall in the middle and some more heat lights on the other end so you have a double enclosure...then you could take the wall out for breeding if you decide you want to.

Idn personally I like my 2 to have heaps of space (as long as they have heaps of hidies).

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: .

"Heaps" of space will eventually work against the health of your animals. Adequate space is better every time. Dividing the cage into 2, or even 3, separate spaces should work well, and your snakes will be the better for it. Wide open spaces may appeal to humans, but they don't appeal to snakes.

Jamie.
