Hi I was wondering how I should feed my 6 month old mac, should I dangle the mouse in front of it for a while if so how long? or should I just dangle it for a short time if it doesn't take it just put it on the ground and leave it?
All help appreciated
Cheers

try any way you want....
if you dangle then dangle, give it a jiggle.
If it doesnt take it, just leave it in there over night

I enjoy watching my Stim strike at the mouse, so yeah, I tease him. Usually takes him a whole second to snap.
Erm, but I would only reccommend dangling the mouse if you use tongs.
Ouch.
If he doesn't snap right away, just leave the mouse outside his hide. Chances are it'll be gone in five mins

Give him time though. My little guy looks at for at least 30 secs or more, before he decides he wants it. Be careful how much you jiggle the mouse, it can frighten little snakes and create a problem feeder. If he won't take it, then as already mentioned, leave it in his cage overnight in a cooler spot rather than over the heated end, but get rid of it in morning if he hasn't eaten it. If he doesn't, he's either not warm enough or due to shed.
