Hey Hun, try this ebsite http://members.iinet.net.au/~bush/PETS.htm. If I was in NSW I would help you but sorry I'm not. Hopefully someone will volunteer but if they don't understand that people are worried about theives coming and stealing their collections.
Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Hehe i had to giggle how you say about people worried about their snakes being stolen, while the site claims they 'deter burglars' XD.

why don't you ask him to splash out for a pony, then run through the costs of keeping something like that over an animal like a snake for example, that wont bark during the night, eat heaps, crap on the floor, need walks, be desexed and vaccinated, etc etc. i'm sure if you keep this up for a while he'll come around and see the light
cheers.

Ahh you see my kids are lucky like that, they have to put up with their old man (me!) Tell your folks to open up and little and give a kid a break These animals are clean, easy to keep under the right conditions and bring a lot of joy!....as well as being educational - don't forget that part! Good luck!
