Snakes in garage.

hello, i need some help me and my dad are having a debate on where to put the snakes (in the new house) he wants them in the garage and i want them inside his story is that they stink and mine is im worried about the fumes from the cars my question is that will the car fumes affect the snakes he said the cars will be facing away from the snakes and they will be 1-2 m apart

How did you father come to the conclusion that snakes smell? The only time it smells a little is when the do their business, and you generally clean it straight away.

to moving them in the garage and im use to the smell anyway and i do clean it up nearly straight away. ive kept my bluey in there but id rather not keep them in the garage but its his word against mine.

Are you allowed to keep them in your bedroom? Just close the door so then he doesn't have to deal with it?. I have both of my snakes in my room, and they've never made a stink yet :S.

Snakes dont smell thats crazy, I couldn't imagine the fumes bothering them, unless the garage doors were shut while t5he cars were running , this would not only be bad for the snakes but their owners as well.

Thats were they are at the moment , it only smell's when you go in my room thats when i no to clean them out , i usually check they click clacks everyday anyway.

When they do a number 1 or 2 they do, especially if your at work and its been sitting in the cage for 8 hours. I have a dedicated area / room for all my snakes which is attached to the back of the
house due to that very reason.

na the cars wont be running,he knows there not as bad as some animal's but will still fight for them to be housed inside tho .
