did you feed him in his enclosure?
If so he might think every time you put your hand in its feeding time.
I remove mine from their enclosure and feed them in a totally different environment (container, substrate etc) .
He could just be hungry.
what did you feed him?

Did you make sure that you left your snake alone for at least 2-3 days after feeding it before you began handling it. I find my little guy hates being bothered until Wednesday after he feeds on Sunday.

OK yes i did feed him in his enclosure. I fed him a fuzzie mice i think its is because it has a bit of fur and is small like a baby mice.( My snake is about 6 months old) The guy i got him off gave me free food so he gave me those mice. Also i should feed him in another container right? Should i clean his cage now would it make a difference?

You should try and use different methods,
When i feed i just simply place the pre warmed rat/mouse in the cage and move away couple meter's and sit back till i know that everything is fine and move out the room.
I only feed in the late afternoon or at night when temps are still warmish.
When i handle i use a snake hook and gently push around on the floor in the enclosure and then place the hook under the python to get a grip and then its all hands from there, this way my animal knows there is no food avail and that will be picked up very shortly.
Its worth a go???

I might try that. I have tried with a thin stick but he even tried to bite that.

I always feed mine in it's enclosure and he's never once tried to bite me but I always use a hook to pick him/her up.

It got nothing to do with feeding! Most juvies are snappy it a defence action as in nature every thing is a
threat when they are so small.
The bite doesnt hurt so take it, you will find as your python matures it will gradually stop this sort of behaviour.
Avoid over handling and handling for a day or 2 after a feed

Try different techniques each week until you find a good one. I always use alcohol-based hand wash (e.g. Aquium) before handling, but not feeding. I also use a hook to pick up my babies (adults are so mellow this is not necessary). You'll get there.

There are a number of reasons why your bredli might be snappy. As stated already it could be related to feeding but I feel that is a more unlikely senario. Biting is a defensive behavior and is often related to stress. I would be looking at the snakes environment as a major cause. Ensure that it is comfortable and that it is of an appropriate size and has ample hiding spaces that are tightly fitting. Also ensure that you give a settling in period where your bredli is left undisturbed for a period of 2 to 3 weeks. From here my advice to you would be leave it alone in a quiet room for 2 to 3 weeks mostly undisturbed. Check up on it every few days and make sure it is still in the enclosure. Once the time is up offer a feed. If it feeds leave it for another 3 days or so and then try handle it. Removing the snake from its enclosure with a hook and letting it settle and slowly moving it to your hand is a frequently used handling technique used by many reptile keepers. At the end of the day you are fortunate that you snake is atleast feeding. Many people do not have the luxury of that when they get a new snake.
