I've had a read through "Keeping & Breeding Australian Pythons" and "Keeping Children's Pythons" and have an idea of what I need to be doing in a few months to breed my macs, but I was wondering what kind of housing other breeders keep their antaresia in.
At the moment, I have most of my macs in tubs on top of heat tape, because there aren't eough enclosures and the enclosure that is free is a bit too big for a poor lil' maccie to feel safe and comfortable (silly things always go underneath the paper substrate, even tho the hides are appropriate sizes!!) So I would like to know if people have been consistently successful with macs in tubs, or if it would be better for me to bite the bullet and get some enclosures??
All input is appreciated!!
Cheers,
Megan |
