Stimsons Pythons & Northern Green Tree Frogs Question

Hello All,

I have two questions. One: If you have a snake of unknown age (eg:wild caught), how do you know when it is okay to breed said snake?

We have a Stimson's Python female, and know we'll be looking to breed her. She is about 50-60 cms long at the moment.(About half the size she'll grow)
We would appreciate any help!

Secondly, breeding Northern Green Tree Frogs (Litoria Caerulea). Any advice on breeding them? I've read an article on the web that tells you how to get them to breed out of season, but we'd prefer to encourage nature to take its course at natures discretion. Again, any advice would be appreciated.

Thankyou,

I thought keeping wild snakes without a permit was illegal?

I'm guessing she's in WA and bought from a licensed taker. I would guess that she would be ready to breed when she is about 70-80cm long? Only guessing though.

We are in WA, have appropriate licensing, but our animal was wild caught, and bought from a licensed taker/dealer.

I'd love to see a picture of your stimson's. Do you know from which locality it was collected?

She's from Geraldton I believe. Will post a pic when I figure out how to!
