Hi,
How long can you store frozen mice/rats? I have some pinkies from around 5 weeks ago and am curious on the shelf life so to speak.
Cheers,
Jim

6 months (they should be sealed in a snap lock bag or similar with all of the air squeezed out). If vacuum sealed they can be stored for 12 months.

I have been told that 6 months is the limit. Now the vac idea is brilliant ,obviously professionally done of course. Ah what the heck i'll give it a go with the Dyson....
The damn vac was quicker than my snake......A cyclonic frozen mouse, yippeeee |

If you are breeding your own rats you should keep them frozen for 6 weeks before using them as this wil kill any parasites present. as to how long I have no idea i go through them to quickly

We have found that pinkie mice/rats seem to get freezer burnt a lot quicker . Must because of the lack of fur?? Cheers Cheryl
