thermostat

hey hey evry1 i want 2 no what the best (under $100) thermostat would be for a coastal carpet. i basically have everything i need to get my snake except a thermostat, a thermometer, and a heat mat for my click clack. so any help wil be greatly appreciated

if you not hooking too much up to it - say only a heat matt or cord, then I would go for a microclimate ministat 100 or 300 like it says they can take 100 or 300 watts.

thanx at first yer only a heat mat, for my click clack. but hopefully i could use it for my large enclosure getting built for me aswell. it will have day and night lights in it heat etc whats one that can take all that?

I'd really suggest spending the extra $50 and getting a B1ME. That will do you for almost any enclosure/situation.

I skimped on thermostats to start off and have gone through and replaced them all, the dimming thermostats will save you at least their cost in globes over their lifespan

yeah spend the extra! its not much in the long run! shop around i picked up a B1ME new for $139

thanx guys ill spend the extra it seems better. after all im not a cheapskate ill ask the guy whos making the enclosure 4 me, what the wattage n stuff is that should help

Just remember that you cant use lights on a pulsing stat you need to get the dimming type if your going to hook lights up to it.
