To Incubate...or...Not To Incubate

Hi Ya All!!!

Tis been a while since I've been on - have been busy!

Last year I removed & incubated Nickis eggs....this year, I'm not sure whether to go the incubator or let her 'do her thing'.

Prior to laying (2 wks ago) Nicki didn't have much of a feed (unlike last year where she devoured everything in sight)....should I remove & incubate the eggs to let her rest & feed or should I let her do it herself?

Nicki has a top & bottom section to her enclosure: top section has lighting, bottom section which is cooler houses the water bowl - she has an access hole to move in between

I'd introduced a box (with vameculite) in in both top & bottom of her enclosure (around the beginning of October, ready for the egg laying process (giving her a choice of where to use), but she chose to lay them on the floor (newspaper covering) of the top section in her cave.

She appears comfortable where she is. I've since removed the two boxes. I am however concerned that she may weaken prior to the eggs hatching (or am I being 'too concerned').

Friends (very experienced breeders) are willing to care for the eggs.

Your suggestions/ideas would be much appreciated.

PS: am arranging though for my friends to come around to 'check' her condition/progress.
