to small?

I was wonderin would 3ft long x 1ft high x 1ft wide be to small for an adult childrens python?

I personally wouldn't keep anything in a cage that is only 30cm deep, i hate cages like that. But yeah, it would suffice, just.

so it would be ok for it to stay in there? just because i have a book shelf and its gona get thrown out soon so what i want to do it put childrens in it, it has 5 banks that are that big, i might use the other 3 for geckos

It would be ok, but i'd be looking to get a larger cage if they're adults. Those dimensions would suit geckos, or juv/sub'adult Antaresia speices really well though.

i would use a bigger cage but you do what ever you thinks right.

thats size is ok, childrens don't have to climb so it's ok, i know a few breeders that keep all their childrens in that size cage and i'm making some at the moment for my stimmys, maccies and childrens that are 90cm long x 50 cm deep x 30 cm high, and they are heeps big enough for a pair during breeding season and for a single childrens to live in,

start making mods spike, and i want pics............

Just a suggestion....... I know childrens are not climbers..... But to give it some more room you could knok out one shelf and give it double the height..... Maybe even just knock out part of the shelf so it has two levels..... (with a climbing branch between them)

## Might be useful in getting a good temp gradient too...##

the reason they aint staying to gether cause there both males, they live toughter fine but they dont eat out of the cage . . i tried to feed them in a tub last week but they didnt eat because they were in the tank . .
