Hey Victor sterilize the clippers by using boiling hot water i'm sure that will be sufficient for your bluey..that is if you ever need to. put bark/wood in the enclosure to help file the nails down naturally..Good luck with your bluey cheers

Hi mate! Welcome! I use a product called F10. Its a vet grade disinfectant. Unless you have access to an autoclave to sterilize your instruments best practice would be to use a safe disinfectant. It is easy to use just dilute it down, spray it on and leave to dry or wipe away or rinse. I use it on all my instruments, enclosures, water bowls, food bowl, furniture etc etc. Additionally it leaves no residual smell and I was informed, when I rang the phone number on the bottle, that it is 100% safe to use for reptiles and amphibians and, infact, contains certain substances used as medication in treating respiratory infections in reptiles.

a good thing to do is do it early in the morning before you turn on its heating, that way its cold so slow and sluggish in movements. that way if he squirms you get plenty of warning.

Id only advise this if your skink is completly comfortable around you too.
