I was just wondering if you can keep tortoises?
Or are they like.. not...good...to keep...as pets...because of laws...? (Jazz is excellent wording things  )

No, tortoises are illegal. Anything not native is illegal to keep (except zoos). You also cant export or import any animals under the license (including all reptiles). All animals must be NATIVE to Australia. Hope this helps.

Yes she will lol. If your caught with an illegal reptile it can be fines up to $110,000.00 and 10 yrs jail, not likely that much but its not worth it. Theres heaps of different species of turts you can keep, all VERY different. Ive got 5 diff species, they all look completely different. I love them, all 15 of them

What's the most interesting looking turtle you can keep? My friend doesn't like the look of the ones she has seen for sale, she doesn't want a "creek turtle".
