Turtle eating calcium

one of my turtles sometimes nibbles on the calcium block, sometimes he even gets a large bit and eats it
is this ok?
any advice would be great

Yes it's fine for the turtle to eat they also like to nibble on cuttlebone.

It's good for your turtle to eat calcium, however; turtle eating calcium should never be put in your tank as it will eat your turtle.

the calcium has dissolved their shells. they are desert fitzroys
