Turtle egg question

Hi, i know you have to pick up the eggs and put them in your container the same way they were sitting.
But a few of my eggs were standing upright,do i have to place them in the container like that or
could i lay them on the side that they were slightly leaning towards.Hmmm
I always get my eggs out within 1-2 hours, cheers

If it is 1-2 hours after they have been laid, then it should be ok. That's presuming turtle eggs are no different to python eggs...?

I think if you move them with in a couple of hours they are ok to lay them on their side, as the embryo hasn’t formed to the side of the egg yet.
