Turtle help....

I am a little worried about my turtle - he seems to be having trouble swimming - by this I mean he can swim, but seems to have trouble reaching the bottom as if his butt just keeps floating him up to the surface. Any idea what's going on here? what should I do?
Cheers

Hi
Just wondering what size your turtle is?
Check around the back legs for excessive fluid build ups. Sometimes u will see them swimming like this, then burp up a large bubble and be fine again

I wouldnt worry about it to much for a day or 2, after that, try dry docking for a few hours and then returning them to the water

Good sound advice, do nothing and it will go away. Either way.

If it isn't eating or is more lethargic than usual and it doesn't go away I would be concerned. Pneumonia can cause difficulty with diving - other signs of this can occasionally be - nasal discharge or open mouth breathing. I would take it to a vet if it continues/or you are concerned.

Well he's eating fine, swimming around pretty actively, just having trouble getting to and staying near the bottom. I've tried taking him out of the water for a while, hasn't made too much of a difference. Should I just keep trying for a little while every day? He doesn't seem to come out of the water at all of his own accord (as I've seen....of course I'm not there all the time). Thanks.
