Hi,
I am getting confused from reading lots of different website about seting up a tank for a LONG-NECKED TURTLE. The turtle is only a baby (about size of 20 cent piece)
On some sites they say that a white incandescent bulb is ok..... but it needs to be on a day/night cycle. One site said use a red or blue bulb and leave it on 24/7 and some say a normal flourescent bulb is ok and some say a UV flourescent bulb.
I am getting really confused.... at the moment i am using a normal white flourescent light with a day/night cycle.
Is what i have got ok, or should i get a different type? What do you people use?

use a NEC T10 Blacklight for uv and a standard house hold bulb for heat. Go with nature as to when you have the lights on. they dont need to bask at night. Use a heater for water warmth at night.
