Urgent Help: Beardie has a developed a Black Beard?

My beardie was fine this morning, but seems to have developed a black dark beard in a day, he is eating normally....am I doing something wrong? I live 2 hours from a herp vet and would appreciate ANY assistance.

Im not too sure but pics would help people massively. If you can get pictures it would increase the chance of someone identifying your problem.

it aint april fools day!....so you must be ligit!

dragons...all males have black beards...to the lip
females tend to have a line under the chin that the black doesnt go past

basically normal!

from the sounds of things u dont need to worrie at all. bearded dragons get black beards. it could be just a little agitated today

Mine go almost totally black all over when they come out to catch the first m orning sun, but are pale gray again by nightfall.

Perfectly normal, so dont stress.
I suggest you read up alot more on beardies if you didnt know that their beards turn black, especially since your keeping one

All good guys, the black beard is gone...hahaha I am new to beardies and use to snakes who do not change colour all of a sudden...

one of my males black bearded at 4 mnths!....dont think so for the breeding eh!
shows they are terratorial...& thinking about things
i regard dragons age to a 1/5 of humans..humans average 80yrs...
so at 12mnths...1yr they would average 16yrs of age....typical teenager
