Red face using a snake hook on a grumpy jungle

Hey every body this is the first time on here and i was wondering if anyone can help me with my jungle...... she's about 2.1m and a beautiful snake (even thou she aint a black and gold) but since my daughter was born 2yrs now!!! i haven't been able to hold her as much. And now she is ...well a bit snappy and very uncoprative . if i do manage to get a hold of her she tends to wrap up around her branches and what not and then i cant get her out. so i bought a large snake hook in a last ditch attempt to get her out and hold her again. any feed back will be greatly appreciated.......

I think a snake that large it would be abit painful at the point where the hook touches the ventral scales due to the weight of it wouldnt be enough support spead out, I would interact with it more until it become use to you being around then trying to hold it with you hands..

large hooks are fine for big snakes as long as you hold and suport the tail

Yeah I agree... I hold my snakes with a hook....about a foot or so down from the head..... and grasp gently the tail end in your other hand...... if you get them right...they are also positioned so that they cant reach the hand holding them...
