The only UV and heat bulbs i use are mecury vapour. I think the best brand is reptisun? it comes in a 160 watt globe and gives out a great deal of UV

Ah so the compact max 10.0 doesn't give uv? Yeh Lector Oz light UV heat and light is the same but 160w is a bit too hot i need something thats only like 100w and still gives UV as well..

"This is the product we have all been waiting for, now there is an efficiens space saving way to provide UV for our reptiles, available as a globe or a Pack (with reflector) in two different strenghts." This was quoted under the product..

The Compact Max are UV globes. I've found the fitting gets quite warm but you would not use them as a form of heatsource as they don't give off much heat downwards.
