my male childrens has an exceptionally yellow belly. Not as yellow as a water but noticeably yellow. Could it just be that you haven't noticed that it is yellow? Also i remember my old mac's belly scales used to go a very very light rusty yellow when he hadn't shed in a long time. does this help?

The only thing i can think of is its about to shed, maybe the eyes havnt gone milky yet, usually the underbelly is the first part to change when its about to shed.
