Just wondering what the usual cost is of a trip to the vet for a regular check-up (in NSW). I bought a Bredli recently and just wanted to take her for a check-up. I called the Vet in Randwick www.birdvet.com.au, they said $70 for consultation. Is that a reasonable price or would be better off going somewhere else?
P.S. Not being tight or anything, just not a fan of getting ripped off
Thanks guys!

The vet clinic is called Cannon and Ball vet clinic and their number is 4229 8888. Last time I went down I had 2 animals checked over and took one in for surgery. After the consult, surgery, a week of care after surgery, 2 weeks of after care meds and everything else it only cost around $110.
Definitely worth the drive down.

If your animal is healthy there's no need to take it to the vet anyway. |

he's good. as said already he's a bird vet not a rep vet and when i pay for vet work i tnd to what to see someone who specialises in the right area.

If you think $70 is too much then get prices from others. Remember not all vets are the same quality! |

The website did say though that he specialises in exotics (including snakes). Well yea it is just for a check up, she's healthy and active and all, new to snakes so just want to be sure.
