Show some pics or give some measurements.

As long as the snake is healthy and eating then it doesn't really matter if it a bit small for its age. I guess it depends on the snake. If its a spotted than a fuzzys ok, but if its a scrubby only eating fuzzys...

Maybe theirs is overfed? Its like I said as long as you start feeding it right and everything it should be ok. If you are wondering whether Its growth might be stunted, well I have a female spotted which was about that big after a year, but shes fine now. There'd be plenty of wild children's that are only that small after 1 year.

Oh, if she was lost during winter she may not have eaten much at all. But it might be worth getting her wormed just in case.

What is the perfect size for her age? Unlike people, snakes sizes depends on how much and how often they eat. In the wild this varies heaps. Imagine a snake living in a field full of mice compared to one living somewhere that is having a drought. She will still grow to adult size. Its just that it may take a few months more to do so.

As long as it is healthy than its not a big deal. Are you wondering that you should start feeding her twice as much to make up lost time? I wouldn't, overall Its just missed out a few months worth of feeds (just like it may have in the wild during winter).

settle petal lol, just feed her as you would have before, in the warmer months MAYBE feed a FEW extra, she'll catch up in time. if she has just been gone over the colder months i wouldnt be too concerned, captive snakes tend to be over fed not under.
congrats on finding her.
