What Do you think would be good?

Hi everyone
I am getting my first snake very soon (YAY) and I was wondering everyones oppinions in the breeds, Spotted or Childrens???

personal preference - spotteds... grow bigger, look nicer... temprament - hard to tell - one of mine snaps but has never bittem the other never snaps and has bitten me twice!

If you want something small, a spotted or childrens. A larger python that is great for beginners are coastal carpets.

I've always thought Spotted Pythons looked better, sorry to anybody who has a Children's.

I'm looking for a small snake,as I go into hospital alot, and it wont be an inconvienience for my parents.
I was just looking for peoples opinions, I was holding a childrens the other night & he wasnt fidgety at all!!! but I held a spotted and he just wouldnt sit still

I was looking at getting a stimmie 1st off, but the breeder I was going to get it from was in NSW and I didnt like the idea of it getting sent up here. Anyway there is a breeder a couple of suberbs away from me that has a clutch of spotteds & a clutch of childrens.
I dont kno which 1 to go with though.

Both snakes are beautiful and just as enjoyable as each other. Both snakes tend to be snappy at first but settle down as they grow and also with regular handling

there both virtually the same
i think spotted are slightly better lookin though

Well as the setup is going to be the same whether you get one or the other, I reckon if you can you should decide on the day. Ask if you can hold a few and see which one you are drawn to.

Spotteds are a bit bigger and look better IMO.
