I'm wondering if this is true and what else could I feed my snake as well as mice/rats. I have a book on pythons and it doesnt say anything about feeding eggs to snakes!?

I've heard somewhere that it can be used if you have a stubborn feeder, take away the water bowl and give it a bowl of raw egg, but I wouldn't offer them normally (imagine if it squeezed it too hard, it would be quite messy ).
In the wild most pythons would eat whatever they could get, mammals, birds, reptiles and some species even eat fish (Water Pythons do I'm sure). Arafura File Snakes and sea snakes would only eat fish because they live in the water.

Do you live near Parramatta? Sydney Reptile Supplies sell them (one of this sites sponsors on the right on the home page)
