try searching site. this question gets asked a lot
a lot could depend on what size u want etc...i could recomend something like a Murray Darling or Bredli as these are all i have and are great, but can get big. others often recomend stimpsons, macs and chidreni , which dont get much more than a metre. but it all depends on ur preferences. so read up on all info you can find in order to make a well informed decision

First snake

You have to look at a few things.

The amount of room you have at your place.
The size of the enclosure you can fit and afford.
Do you want a snake that will grow pretty big or one that is small in size.
Are you going to buy a hatchy, juvenile or an older animal.
Big snakes require more food or should I say larger food items. Are you going to be able to afford it.

Do you want a plain snake, colourfull one.

Once you make up your mind you'll be laughing.

Our first snake was a Childreni. Mainly due to the fact that it was our families first snake and we were wary enough as it was. We now have Diamonds (6.5 foot), Coastals (5 foot), Bredli's(7.5 foot) etc etc.

There are many things to consider. Once you have worked out what you can manage go and buy, but remember Herps are addictive.
