Help!
Hi All,
Just bought an Albino Darwin Python (hatchie) and before actually bringing him home I set up his cage to make sure everything would be fine. However, at first he moved around and seemed to be more lively but for the last 24 hours he has stayed in the same position. Im not sure if there is something wrong with the temperature.
Any advice at all would be great. Thanks

it would be normal if you dident see him move for a week or more till he settles in. soon as the lights goes out and you hit the sack i bet you he comes out over night. how long have you had the snake? if its under a week i wouldent warry at all

Did he move????
I <3 Fish , I <3 snakes

Mine was the same he sat on a branch and didnt move untill night time when he woke me up from moving around

I've always covered at least 3 sides of my tank with a grocery bag or cardboard to let my little ones get settled in. The hardest part is not messing with him/her for about a week. No feeding, poking, tapping or touching. Just check the water and leave it alone. That part stinks.

it seems it was just settling in..loves to move around now

also another question, it hasnt gone to the toilet since i brought it home (more than 2 weeks ago)
i have fed it twice and it has no problem eating but should i take it to get a check up at the vet?

i cant see ur attachments,..is it just me?
dont worry about the toileting, they often save them up, and leave a nice pressy in their shed,..
what size food are u using?
years ago my bredli moved to pinky rats from furred mice and didnt poo once in 10 weeks (1 per week) as he was absorbing everything, he started pooing again when i moved him back on to furred food. Some people are like slinkys, not really good fro anything, but still bring a smile to ur face when u push them down a flight of stairs,....

Re: Help!
When I feed mine pinks they never go potty...or so it seems. As soon as it gets big enough to eat stuff with fur you'll wish it was back on pinks.
Colubrids seem to go more than anything. I spot clean my corns tank once a day it seems. My constructors about once every two weeks.
