sweet thanks guys.
never read heard or seen anything to do with praymantis breeding/young so need some information here are some questions (sorry if they are stupid ones )

so how long until they hatch?
what do i feed them on?
how big will they be?
are there any care sheet that help with the spawning and raising of young??
are there any special things i need?

normally a few months till they will hatch, the young are tiny, depending on species they may be up to 1cm. They need to be housed individually and fed on fruit flies or crickets

Gurds,

congratz!!!

i have had a pet praying mantis that was caught at my school that little kids were teasing and trying to stand on

she had 2 batches of eggs before she passed away. from what i remeber they took about 60 days to hatch. when they hatch...they are TINY!!! and make sure the eggs arn't with mum becasue she sees them as food!

you will need pin heads for sure to get them growing, and the most dominate ones will eat the others...they are mean! on that note nothing is needed to get them hatching, just keep em in a tank and they should hatch shortly!

hope this helps...

cheers,

Luke
