toilet rolls or egg cartons?

is there a difference? I used to use toilet roll when i was breeding crickets but i know they can use egg cartons as well.

Is there any difference?

you would think that the egg cartons supplied more hiding space then the toilet roll thats the only difference i can think of ?..

Mythbusters proved the splashback from a toilet bowl gets all over the room. I never use toilet rolls after seeing that episode. Paper towl rolls and egg cartons for mine.

Wow, what a choice - something that may have been peed on or something that housed things from a chooks butt????

I use toilet rolls, but cut them in half and stand them vertically (that way they don't fill up with cricket droppings).
