recently here on APS we heard bit of Bob whitey criticism and some people did call him Idiot.
I am not happy about it and I think that he should have fair review.
People who purchased snakes from Bob, please let us know how happy you was with purchase. I have 4 olives from him, all excellent. Happy with snakes, not happy for non returned phone enquire. I think that he is top herp breeder. |

All happened to be misunderstanding. My message was not passed to him by his wife. One can understand that he must be extremely busy man with all his reptile enterprises.
Any way, we are lucky that man of his knowledge and experience find the time to see our forum time to time. |

i got my hatchling bredli off him just over a week ago now. so far everything has gone great, any questions he answered by email within a day and the bredli is happy n healthy

I am glad Slatey, that you started this threadas, although I have never bought from Bob I was feeling bad for the treatment he was getting here as previously I had only heard good things about him and his animals. I could not, however, say anything in his defence as as I have already stated I have had no dealings with the man. I might just change that though, does anyone know if he breeds Vic Carpets? |

Bob was not member on this site one year ago. he joined just recently. That is why he did not apologized then but he did it now.
I said the true than and do not backing from it. But it is wrong to be so kritical about professional person after just one visit of his show. It is even more wrong when some members call him idiot. This is against rules on this site and people do know that name calling to other members is not allowed.
Regarding the wrinkles, I have 4 olives and they all have them. I must say that I do not consider to be so cruel to them. Many people on this site have been in my place and loved how they look.
Regarding the list he sticky tape to tell people what he sell, I agree with him to do this. He is making living that way, and any member of public who start this hobby thanks to him is great contribution to Australian herp community.
I do not see any difference to advertise on Internet or on his own show.
I think that his record speak for him self and you should stop criticizing man so heavily, after seeing him only once.
You said what you feel is right , and now let the other people to respond to it.
After few days this thread will run here read it again and mabe you will get the other side of Bob Whitey.
Another think Simond, your comment of SOFAR was absolutely unnecessary. I would like to hear what you did publicly for herp community and how did you help to get public involved in herps or to be interested in it. This people spend lot of their own time to contribute to our society and do not need this type of comments. Some times if you have nothing nice to say, is better to shut up.
I do not understand why people are full of hate all the time. |
