I must say if you dont like the breeder you dont have to get anything from them....there is plenty of breeders out there...nothing against you bob...  |

Bob your answer make sence. And yes you can't please ewerybody. I think that this thread will help you to improove your business.
I had big business before I retired, and no matter how hard I tried, some customers was unhappy with me. But I always listen to them try to correct my self. Mind you some times that was impossible. I always find people who was impossible to please.
But Large majority is what is important.

So far there seems to be 3 critizims of my selling snakes. One, I did not return calls to yourself as I was never advised of calls by wife. Two. My wife susposidly told someone we don't sell to unexperienced people( and I can assure you she never said anything like that). Three. I was curt to someone in my reply , even though they got the answer they asked for. For all they know I may have been in the middle of something at the time or even handling a Taipan. I rarely am just sitting around resting.
Two complaints are about my wife, and the third from someone who must have wanted a chat and only got a curt answer. I don't think I am doing too bad.
As for Buggiesmuggler, if thats all your basing your complaint on I would definately prefer you to take your business elsewhere. I can just imagine your complaints if something went wrong with your purchase. Probably as bad as the time I sold 2 Childreni to the famous Benjamin (what a nightmare)

I must say, I was pleased to see Bob's answers - it does clarify things somewhat. I too thought that Bob's (and his wife's) manner was a bit abrupt after my purchase of a couple of spotted pythons, and subsequent phone calls for advice. However, after thinking it over, and putting myself in his shoes, I'd probably get a bit short if I received all of those phone calls!
I do get a bit short with people who call me for free computer advice. Being in the I.T. industry, it happens quite often. People think the occassional call shouldn't be a problem. Trouble is, lots of friends call "occassionally", and that adds up to lots of calls! So yeah, I now do understand.....

I got my first snake off bob 5 years ago he was great he had so much advice for me very friendly and new his stuff he had the best set up that I have ever seen to this day would recommend him to anyone .
hope to be buying another python off him soon
